Food glorious food! Cocktails and room with a view of the sunset over the Bay of La Paz are sublime. Where so many visitors and locals go to dine and imbibe.

It had been 15 years since my last visit and glad we put it on the top of our dining list. In between seasons, it was a quiet evening but things will pick-up soon. The staff was so welcoming and provided great service. We started with house chips and salsa, of course! I enjoyed fish tacos with fresh sea bass. Three big tacos were more than I could eat; one went home for lunch the next day. An order of nachos was also too much to finish. I had a refreshing Margarita with Jamaica (hibiscus). Mike enjoyed Mai Tais.

We arrived fairly early so we could watch the sun go down. More guests arrived later. Also, well known for their sportfishing trips, Tailhunter’s has been a mainstay on the Malecón de La Paz (the seaside boardwalk) for many years.

Fifteen years later, Tailhunter’s is still a five-star experience!
